These can be hung on door handles, drawer handles, bed posts, in the car, wherever you like really or you can tie them round a rolled napkin to act as a keepsake for your wedding or dinner party. I have pinched this idea from Creating your Perfect Wedding by Lucinda Ganderton.
You will need: Clay, rolling pin, heart shaped cookie cutter, knitting needle, ribbon, lacy fabric
1. Flatten a small ball of clay on a table by pressing it down with the palm of your hand
2. Place a small piece of fabric over the top and carefully and slowly roll the clay and fabric using the rolling pin until the clay is about 1/2 cm thick.
3. Remove the fabric.
4. Use the cookie cutter to cut a heart shape out of the clay. Repeat as many times as possible.
5. Remove each shape carefully and poke a hole through with the knitting needle. This will be to feed the ribbon through.
6. Leave flat until dry. This can take about 24 hours.
7. Sand off any rough edges with fine sandpaper.
9. Feed the ribbon through the hole.
Done!
If you prefer, you can paint them to tie in with your colour scheme.
I do sell these if you prefer not to make them or haven't got the time. Just drop me a line.

About Me
- Bernadette
- Since I got engaged I got the wedding bug. I love all things to do with weddings, they make me go all giddy inside. After my wedding I expected this to go away but it didn't. If I had the courage to change my career I would love to be a wedding planner. This blog serves to provide me with my wedding 'fix'. One night on our honeymoon my husband looked up into the dark sky and said to me "The sky's clear tonight. There are no stars." I looked up, following his gaze and replied "There's one. One star shining bright". He looked at it said "That's for us". (Yes, it is me in the black 'n' white profile photo)
